LearnHexa ("we", "us", "our") is a smart learning and career development application operated by SoftHexaTech. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the LearnHexa mobile app, web app, and related services at learnhexa.com.

By creating an account or using LearnHexa, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), and profile details you provide during registration or Google Sign-In.
• Career & learning data: career goals, skills, assessment answers and scores, course progress, gamification stats (XP, badges, streaks), and preferences you enter in the app.
• AI feature inputs: text you submit to Career Coach, Resume Analyzer, Resume Generator, skill assessments, and related AI tools — including optional resume text, job descriptions, and experience notes.
• Usage & credit data: feature usage counts, credit balances, daily limits, and ad-reward activity to manage fair access to AI features.
• Payment information (when applicable): if you purchase a subscription in the future, payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Razorpay). We do not store full card or UPI details on our servers.
• Device & technical data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and basic diagnostic logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
• Personalize learning paths, skill maps, and career recommendations.
• Generate AI-powered assessments, coaching replies, resume analysis, and resume content.
• Track progress, issue badges, and operate gamification features.
• Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse of AI features.
• Process payments and subscriptions when you choose a paid plan.
• Send important service updates, security alerts, and support responses.
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and analyze aggregated usage trends.

3. AI Processing

LearnHexa uses third-party AI services (including Google Gemini) to power features such as Career Coach, assessments, and resume tools. Content you submit may be sent to these providers solely to generate responses for you. We do not use your personal data to train public AI models on your behalf.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only:

• With service providers that help us operate the app (hosting, AI APIs, payment processors, analytics) under appropriate safeguards.
• When you follow affiliate or external course links — the third-party platform may receive standard referral/tracking data according to their own policies.
• When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of LearnHexa, our users, or others.
• With your consent or at your direction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data at any time from Profile → Delete account in the LearnHexa app. This removes your account, profile, skill maps, learning plans, assessments, resumes, notifications, and related records from our systems. You may also email us at support@learnhexa.com to request deletion. Some information may be kept where the law requires it, or for legitimate business records such as payment history.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, update, or correct your personal information from your Profile in the app.
• Delete your account and personal data yourself from Profile in the app, or ask us to delete it by emailing support@learnhexa.com.
• Withdraw consent for optional analytics or marketing where applicable.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, subject to legal exceptions.

7. Children’s Privacy

LearnHexa is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your data may be processed on servers located in India or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
